1. Introduction
Welcome to our modest fashion e-commerce platform based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), specializing in abayas and kaftans. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services, as well as any purchases you make. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must refrain from using our site or services. These Terms apply to all visitors and customers of our platform.
2. Eligibility
By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (the age of legal majority in the UAE) or that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian if you are a minor. Users under 18 may only use the site under the supervision and with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to be responsible for the minor’s actions. We reserve the right to refuse service, close accounts, or cancel orders if we suspect that a user is not eligible or does not meet these requirements.
3. Use of the Website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not misuse the site or engage in any activity that interferes with its operation or security. Prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to: attempting to circumvent security measures, introducing harmful software (viruses, malware), harvesting data, or infringing upon the rights of others. Engaging in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the site is grounds for immediate termination of your access.
4. Products and Descriptions

However, we do not guarantee that descriptions and other content on our site are entirely free of error, complete, or current, and slight variations (for example, in color or texture) may occur. We make every effort to display product colors and features accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will show the exact colors or details of the products. Product availability is subject to stock, and all products are offered on an “as available” basis. We reserve the right to modify information about products, such as pricing or availability, and to correct any errors or omissions, without prior notice (including after you have submitted an order).
5. Orders and Order Acceptance
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product(s) in accordance with these Terms. After you submit an order and payment, you will receive an order confirmation (typically via email) acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note: this confirmation is not an acceptance of your order; it is an acknowledgment of receipt. Our acceptance of your order, and the completion of the contract between you and us, occurs when we dispatch the product to you. We will send you a notification when your order has been shipped, at which point your order is considered accepted and your payment method will be charged (if it hasn’t been already).
We expressly reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion before dispatch, for any reason. This may occur, for example, if a product is out of stock, if we identify an error in pricing or product information, or if we suspect any fraudulent or unauthorized activity. In such cases, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information you provided. If your order is canceled after payment has been captured, we will promptly issue a refund to the original payment method.
In the event we discover a pricing or description error for a product you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We are not obligated to accept or fulfill any order for an item that was listed at an incorrect price, and we reserve the right to cancel such an order even after it has been confirmed. If you have already been charged for the purchase and we cancel the order, you will receive a full refund.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all information you provide to us (such as your name, shipping address, and contact details) is accurate and current. We are not liable for deliveries delayed or misdirected due to incorrect or outdated information provided by you. Ownership (title) of products you purchase transfers to you once we have received full payment for the order. The risk of loss or damage to products passes to you upon delivery of the item to the address you provided.
6. Pricing and Payments
All prices on our website are listed in United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) and, unless clearly stated otherwise, are inclusive of any applicable taxes (such as VAT). We reserve the right to change the prices of our products at any time without prior notice; however, such changes will not affect any order you have already placed and which we have accepted. If a pricing error is identified for an item you’ve ordered (as noted above), we will inform you and may cancel the order (with a full refund) before shipment.
Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods for purchases, such as major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), and possibly other forms of payment (e.g., online payment gateways or local payment services). By providing your payment information at checkout, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method, and you authorize us (or our third-party payment processor) to charge the full amount of your purchase to that payment method. Payments are processed via secure third-party payment processors; we do not store your credit card numbers or sensitive payment details on our servers. All payment transactions are encrypted and secured to protect your information.
Third-Party Payment Processors: We may use reputable third-party services to process payments. These third-party processors have their own terms and privacy policies, which may apply to your payment transactions. We are not responsible for any errors or security breaches on the part of the payment processor, but we will do our best to assist in resolving any issues. Once payment is successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation of payment (e.g., an email receipt). If your payment is declined or not authorized, your order will not be processed, and we will notify you to use an alternate method.
Currency and Exchange Rates: If we provide the ability to view prices or pay in currencies other than AED, the final amount charged may vary based on exchange rates or your bank’s fees. We are not responsible for any differences in the billed amount due to currency conversion or international transaction fees your bank may charge.
7. Shipping and Delivery
We offer shipping to addresses within the UAE and to select international destinations, including countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). During the checkout process, you will be able to select your delivery destination and see the available shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times for your order. Shipping fees may vary based on your location, the size/weight of the package, and the shipping method chosen, and will be calculated and shown at checkout before you finalize your order.
Delivery Time: We strive to dispatch orders promptly and deliver within the estimated timeframe provided. However, all delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual delivery dates may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as courier delays, customs processing, or unforeseen logistical issues. We will not be liable for any delays in delivery that are due to third-party shipping carriers or any circumstances outside our control. That said, we will do our best to keep you informed of any significant delays and to work with you to ensure you receive your order.
Customs and International Delivery: If you order products for delivery outside of the UAE, please be aware that your shipment may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by the destination country. Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient (you) and are not included in our product prices or shipping fees. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount; your local customs authority may contact you for payment of these fees. Customs policies vary widely, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that international shipments may be opened and inspected by customs authorities. For international orders, any customs duties and taxes that you must pay are non-refundable (if you later return the product, we can refund the purchase price minus any such duties/taxes, since we do not recover those).
Address and Delivery Attempts: Please provide a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible if a package cannot be delivered or is misdelivered due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by you. If a package is returned to us due to an address error or because it was unclaimed, we may contact you to arrange re-delivery (additional shipping fees may apply) or to issue a refund for the product (minus shipping costs). Some delivery methods may require a signature upon receipt; it is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept the delivery.
Once your order is shipped, we will provide a tracking number or other shipping confirmation when available. Ownership and risk: We retain ownership of the products until they are delivered to you (or your designated recipient). Once delivery is completed and the product is in your possession, you assume responsibility for it. Please inspect your package upon arrival. If you notice any significant damage to the package that might have affected the item inside, inform the courier and us immediately.
Terms of Service – New Logistics & Fulfillment Clauses
Fulfillment and Delivery by Third-Party Logistics Partner
Engagement of IQ Fulfillment: Alvirah (a brand operated by Biljon Dinaro LLC) utilizes a third-party logistics provider, IQ Fulfillment, to handle all order fulfillment, warehousing, delivery, and return shipments. IQ Fulfillment is a UAE-based logistics company (founded in Dubai in 2019) specializing in e-commerce fulfillmentiqfulfillment.com. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your purchase will be processed and delivered through this partner on our behalf. IQ Fulfillment and its network of couriers will pick, pack, and ship your products as per our instructions, ensuring efficient service across the UAE and GCC region. Alvirah/Biljon Dinaro LLC remains responsible to you for the performance of these services, and IQ Fulfillment is not a party to the sale contract between you and us (they act solely as our service provider). Any issues with delivery or fulfillment should be reported to us, and we will work with IQ Fulfillment to resolve them promptly.
Delivery Timelines: While we strive to dispatch orders quickly and provide accurate delivery estimates, all delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Once your order is handed over to IQ Fulfillment, delivery times may vary based on destination and operational factors. For example, standard shipments within the UAE typically arrive by the next business day (if ordered before the cut-off) barring unforeseen delays, and deliveries to nearby GCC countries usually take 2–5 business days. However, delays can occur due to reasons outside our control – such as high seasonal demand, customs clearance procedures, or remote location transit times. We will keep you informed of any significant delay. Alvirah and IQ Fulfillment will make all reasonable efforts to meet indicated timeframes, but we shall not be liable for any minor delays in delivery. In the event of substantial delay or loss of shipment, our obligations are described under “Liability” below.
Reverse Pickups & Returns: IQ Fulfillment also facilitates product returns on our behalf. If you are eligible to return or exchange a product under our Return Policy, we may arrange a reverse pickup (collection of the item from your address) through IQ Fulfillment in certain areas. For customers within the UAE, our logistics partner can typically pick up returns from your location; a nominal pickup fee (e.g. AED 15 for city areas or AED 30 for remote areas) applies for this service. In other GCC countries, IQ Fulfillment will help coordinate return shipments via their courier network – return fees in those countries are usually similar to the original shipping cost and will be communicated to you in advance. Any such return shipping fees or applicable customs charges may be deducted from your refund or billed separately, in line with our Return Policy. All returns must be authorized by us and properly packaged; once the returned item is received and verified by our warehouse (operated by IQ Fulfillment), we will process your refund or exchange according to our policies (note: COD order refunds may be delayed until we receive the COD funds, see COD section below).
Undeliverable Orders: We consider an order undeliverable if the courier is unable to complete delivery to the address you provided. This can happen for reasons such as an incorrect/incomplete address, inability to reach you or any recipient, or refusal to accept the package. IQ Fulfillment will label such shipments as undeliverable and return them to our facility. If a package is returned to us due to customer fault (for example, you provided the wrong address or were unavailable and did not respond to delivery attempts), we reserve the right to charge you for the round-trip shipping costs incurred. This means that any outbound and return delivery fees, and any non-recoverable duties or fees, may be deducted from your refund or will need to be paid before we re-ship the order to you. We will notify you and discuss the preferred resolution in such cases (re-shipment or order cancellation). If an order is undeliverable due to our error or the courier’s error (for instance, a warehouse mistake or courier mishandling), you will not be charged any additional fees, and we will arrange a re-delivery at no extra cost to you. Our goal is to ensure your purchase reaches you; we will work with our logistics partner to resolve delivery issues in good faith. In cases where a package cannot be delivered or is significantly delayed, you are entitled to cancel the order and receive a refund as per our policies.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders
COD Service and Fees: We offer Cash on Delivery (COD) as a payment option for customers in the UAE and select GCC countries (currently Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain). If you choose to pay by COD, IQ Fulfillment (or its appointed courier agents) will collect the cash payment from you upon delivery of the package, on our behalf. For orders delivered within the UAE, there is no additional COD charge – you simply pay the invoice amount (product price + shipping) to the courier. For orders delivered to other GCC countries, a COD service fee of 5% of the order value (with a minimum of AED 10) will apply. This fee is added at checkout if you select COD, and it covers the extra handling, processing of cash, and international remittance of funds by our logistics partner. The courier will usually accept payment in the local currency of delivery (they will convert the AED order total to local currency at the prevailing rate) and provide you with a payment receipt. Please ensure someone is available with the exact amount to avoid any issues at delivery.
COD Remittance & Refund Timeline: Cash collected on delivery is remitted by IQ Fulfillment to Biljon Dinaro LLC (Alvirah) on a periodic bi-monthly schedule. This means there may be a short lag between when you pay the courier and when we receive those funds. If you are due a refund for a COD order – for example, if you return a product or if an order is canceled after you’ve paid – we can only process the refund after we have received the corresponding COD payment from our logistics partner. Typically, COD remittances are consolidated and transferred to us twice a month, so a COD refund may take up to two weeks from the pickup/delivery date to be issued. We will strive to expedite this, but we appreciate your understanding of the process. Any refund for a COD purchase will be offered via bank transfer, store credit, or other methods as per our Refund Policy once the cash has cleared. (No additional COD fees or transfer charges will be passed on to you beyond what was disclosed at checkout; any bank transfer fees or exchange rate differences during the remittance are accounted for in the COD service fee or borne by us.)
COD Order Conditions: By choosing COD, you agree to be responsive to delivery coordination and to fulfill your payment obligation. We reserve the right to confirm high-value COD orders by contacting you (via phone or email) before dispatch, for security purposes. If we cannot reach you for confirmation, the order may be put on hold or canceled to prevent fraud. Do not abuse the COD option – if you refuse to pay for a COD package upon delivery, or are repeatedly unreachable, it causes significant expense for us. In such cases, Alvirah (Biljon Dinaro LLC) may, at its discretion, restrict or revoke your ability to place future orders using COD. We may require pre-payment (credit card or other online payment) for customers who have a history of not honoring COD orders. This policy is in place to protect our business from losses and ensure that COD remains available to responsible customers.
Liability for Shipping and Delivery
Risk and Title: Title to and risk of loss for products you order typically pass to you upon delivery to your address (or pickup by you) in accordance with applicable law. Until that point, the products are under our care and the care of our logistics partner. We insure or otherwise cover the goods in transit to a reasonable extent, but please read the limitations below.
Limits of Liability: Alvirah (Biljon Dinaro LLC) will ensure that you either receive the products you ordered or, in cases of loss or damage in transit, receive an appropriate remedy (such as a replacement shipment or a refund of the purchase price and shipping). However, beyond the value of the goods and shipping you paid for, we do not assume any further liability for issues arising during shipping. In line with standard industry practices, our designated courier/fulfillment partner’s maximum liability for loss or damage to a shipment is capped (for example, around USD $100 for international shipments), and we cannot guarantee compensation beyond such limits. Accordingly, our liability to you for any shipped order will not exceed the total amount you paid for that order (product cost plus any shipping fees). If a package is lost, significantly delayed, or arrives damaged, we will work with you to provide a fair resolution (usually re-delivering the item or issuing a refund up to the order value). This constitutes our full responsibility for delivery problems. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses related to delivery delays or failures – for example, missed opportunities, business losses, or inconvenience. Furthermore, events outside our reasonable control (such as natural disasters, strikes, border closures, or other “force majeure” situations) that impact shipping may exempt us from liability beyond arranging a rescheduled delivery or refund. These limitations do not intend to deprive you of the basic right to receive your purchased goods or a refund – rather, they clarify that our obligation is to either deliver the product or refund its value, and no additional damages or compensation will be provided for delivery issues. Your statutory rights as a consumer (under UAE and applicable GCC consumer protection laws) are not affected by this clause, and you remain entitled to the remedies required by law in the event of non-delivery or products arriving in unacceptable condition.
8. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely happy with a product you bought from us, you may return it in accordance with our return policy outlined here. This section explains our policies on returns, refunds, and exchanges:
- Return Period: You may return an item within 14 days from the date you received it (delivery date) for a refund or exchange. If more than 14 days have passed since you received the item, we generally cannot offer a refund or exchange, except as required by law. (This 14-day return period is in line with consumer protection norms for online purchases in the UAE and GCC, which often allow at least 7-14 days for returns.)
- Condition of Returned Items: To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must be in new, unused, and resalable condition, with all original tags, labels, and packaging intact. This means the item should be unworn (aside from trying it on), unwashed, and free of any stains, odors, or damage. Please include any accessories, free gifts, or documentation that were originally provided. We reserve the right to inspect returned items and to refuse a return (or apply a restocking fee) if the item shows signs of use, wear, or damage, or if any components are missing (unless the item was received defective). For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items (for example, intimate apparel or any product specified as non-returnable on our site) cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service within the 14-day window and provide your order details and the reason for return. Our team will guide you through the return process, which may involve filling out a return request or including a return authorization slip. You will need to securely package the item for return shipping. We recommend using the original packaging if possible and removing or covering any old shipping labels.
- Return Shipping Costs: In cases where the return is due to a defect, damage during shipping, or an error on our part (for example, we sent the wrong item), we will arrange the return shipping at our expense, or we will reimburse your reasonable return shipping cost and offer options for a replacement or full refund. However, if you are returning the item for other reasons (e.g. you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size/color, or the item is not to your liking), the return shipping costs will be your responsibility. We can help coordinate the return shipment, but the cost of return postage or courier pickup may be deducted from your refund if we provide a return label. Original shipping fees you paid (if any) are generally non-refundable, except in cases of our error or a defective product.
- Refunds: Once we receive the returned product and verify its condition, we will process your refund. Refunds are typically issued to the same payment method you used for the purchase. Please allow a reasonable time for the return transit and for us to inspect the item; after we approve the return, we will issue the refund within a few business days. Depending on your bank or payment provider, the refunded amount may take additional time to reflect in your account (usually a few days to a couple of weeks). We will notify you by email when the refund has been processed. If you paid any import duties or taxes for an international order, note that those charges are collected by your government and are not refundable by us (you might check with your customs office for any refund process on duties, though typically such fees are non-refundable).
- Exchanges: If you prefer to exchange an item for a different size, color, or an alternative item, please contact us within the 14-day period to request an exchange. We will confirm if the desired item is available. Exchanges are subject to product availability – if the exact item or variant you want is not in stock, we will offer you a refund or the option to choose a different item of equal value. The item to be exchanged must meet the same return condition criteria noted above. Once we receive your returned item and confirm it is eligible for exchange, we will process the shipment of the replacement item. If there is any difference in price (for example, exchanging for an item of a different value), we will arrange the additional payment or partial refund as appropriate. Shipping of the exchange item to you: for one-time exchanges due to size/color, we do not charge additional shipping within the same region (UAE or GCC), but for multiple exchanges or international exchanges, we may charge shipping on the replacement. If we determine that an exchange cannot be processed (e.g., due to stock unavailability or not meeting return conditions), we will notify you and issue a refund instead.
- Non-Returnable Items: Certain products may be marked as final sale or non-returnable on our website (for example, clearance sale items or customized products made to your specifications). Such items are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or defective. This exception in case of defects or wrong items is in accordance with UAE consumer protection laws, which entitle customers to a remedy if a product is faulty or not as described.
- Your Legal Rights: The above policies are in addition to any statutory rights you may have under applicable law. We operate in compliance with UAE consumer protection regulations and e-commerce laws. If a product you receive is defective, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet the standards promised, you have the right to return or exchange the goods in accordance with UAE law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude the legal guarantees and remedies that are available to consumers under UAE law.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
All content and material available on our website – including (but not limited to) text, photographs, images, graphics, logos, button icons, videos, audio clips, designs, and software – are the property of our company or our content suppliers and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our brand name, logo, and all related names and slogans are trademarks or service marks owned by us (or our licensors).
You are granted a limited, revocable license to access and make personal use of the content on the site for the purposes of browsing, shopping, or placing orders. 11. Limitation of Liability

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation/exclusion of certain damages; if those laws apply to you, some of the above disclaimers or limitations may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights. However, in such cases, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Your statutory rights as a consumer (especially under UAE law) are not affected by these liability limitations. You have the right to receive goods that are as described and of satisfactory quality, and to receive reasonable care and skill in any services we provide. These Terms are intended to comply with those requirements.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law: These Terms of Service and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or your purchase of products (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile, and we operate our e-commerce business in compliance with UAE laws and regulations. If you are a consumer in another GCC country or elsewhere, any mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence that are applicable to you will be respected, but to the extent permitted, UAE law will govern the interpretation and enforcement of these Terms.
Jurisdiction: In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim between you and us arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site or products, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the issue amicably through negotiations.
